Arlinda is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. She is a product of Cincinnati Public Schools, graduating from Western Hills High School in 1987. After graduating from high school she went on to study Business Management at Capital University, Bexley, Ohio. She holds her Master Of Education and Special Education Licensure from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Arlinda has professionally taught students with other disabilities in various settings, inclusive of juvenile detention centers, partial hospitalization programs and programs serving overaged and credit deficit youth. She the mother of two incredible sons Alex McGlothin, who received his BA in Education from Thomas More College, and Tyler McKinley, who is an upcoming elite basketball player.
When given the opportunity she encourages others to make their dreams come true whether through spoken word, writing a book or starting their own company.
